This place is a true gem. Everything we needed for our stay and a beautiful setting for a weekend of swimming, peaceful nature walks, BBQ on a deck with super comfy chairs and tunes. Gary was incredibly helpful and thoughtful, welcoming us with fresh lemon myrtle tea and smiles. Couldn't have asked for more and my only regret was we couldn't stay longer in this perfect little getaway. Will definitely be back!!

Gary’s place is magic. The best view from Coasters in a beaut spot up the hill amongst the treetops. It’s true, you never want to leave. The whole experience was great. Gary is quite a character and goes to great lengths to make sure you’re all set. The climb up and down the hill to the water is part of the adventure and makes falling back into a comfy chair on the deck a delight. An added bonus is all the incidental exercise you get in between swimming and chilling. Coasters is a very sepcial place. We’ll be back for sure.

Thanks again for another great weekend at Coasters. Once I arrive it is amazing how quickly I leave Sydney behind and start to chill. Love the addition of the fire pit too.

Coasters Retreat is a hidden delight at the footstep of Sydney. Whether you want to relax and take it easy or get adventurous with a hike, kayak or fishing you can’t go wrong.
Plenty of firewood makes an evening by the fire the perfect way to end the day, we even enjoyed cooking our dinner over the fire.
Expect a visit from the local wildlife who are far from shy, which is a rare opportunity for overseas visitors.
The house is in the best position in the area, commanding views make the ascent more than worthwhile. It is also bathed in sunlight from late morning which makes it feel like a warm spring day in the middle of winter without the intrusion of sunrise on your sleep-in.
We will be back any time of the year.
