6.1 Km's from the Westhead turnoff the Bairne Track is on the right hand side.  This track can be followed all the way to the end where you will see the most spectacular views of Coasters Retreat and The Basin.   A few hundred metres back along the track takes you to a point above The Retreat which is then accessed via a steep and spectacular hike past spectacular rock faces and a beautiful cave which is directly above the property.
